TCAT's ministry to women offers women an opportunity to gather and grow both spiritually and in friendship.

At The Church at Tuscaloosa, we celebrate the divine attributes of women and therefore are compelled to reach and train women through the truth of the Bible. Our ministry to women is attempting to reach out to women in spheres of influence and age.

Whether you are single, married with young kids, an empty-nester, single mom, or have no kids at all, we offer you a place where you can dialogue about life's most important issues with other women that are in a similar place in life. Please don't miss the opportunity to join in with a dynamic group of women that are making an impact on the landscape of Tuscaloosa.

Here are some of the unique opportunities TCAT women have with our Women's Ministry:

Martha Ministry- These ladies provide home cooked meals to those who are coming home from the hospital, or who have suffered a death in the family. Contact Kimberly McMurray or Sissi Smelley for more info.

Bible Studies- We offer a variety of days and studies, including a Tuesday night LIFE Group and our Wednesday night Bible study. Contact Vicki Moore or Kristy Holt for more info.

Power of a Praying Parent- Come join other moms and dads each 3rd Sunday morning at 9:00 to pray for our children and hear a devotional. Contact Leah Shaw for more info.

Eugenia's Love- Named in memory of a member's mother, this ministry provides flowers in the foyer twice a month on Sunday mornings, then takes and gives them to residents of area nursing homes. Contact Crystal Bane for more info.

Sweet Mondays- Held the first Monday evening of the month from 6:00-8:00, this special time is an evening of great fun and sweet fellowship, sprinkled with a light devotional message. Contact Susan Woods for more info.

Brown Bag Tuesdays- Join us in the Student Room on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 for a fun, inspirational lunch hour. Don't forget your lunch! Contact Robbie Barrineau for more info.

Secret Sisters- This quarterly event is an outreach to those in need around our area who need specific items. Grab a pink bag, fill it up with the items listed on the card, and turn it back in. But....shhhh!! It's done in secret! Contact Kristy Holt for more info.

Soup Kitchen- TCAT is honored to "feed the hungry" every month on Fridays at a local church. Come help us cook, serve, and clean up! Contact Cassidy Edwards for more info.

Mentoring Program- Mature women "adopt" new believers or the younger women in our church to help them along the way. Contact Pam Brown for more info.

Women's Annual Retreat- Mark your calendars for February 8-9, 2013 at the Lancaster Farm in Eutaw for the TCAT Women's Retreat! They are always powerful weekends! Contact Kim Sandras for more info.
