Worship

We were made to worship and although our lives should be a reflection of our worship (Romans 12: 1-2), worship through music was designed by God to be an expression of His creativity and a vehicle of surrender.  Because of God’s unimaginable generosity toward us, God, in all of His glory, chooses to respond to us through our worship. Our worship and submission to Him flows out of the reality that God loved us first. We do not worship God to receive; we worship God to bring all of our lives to the feet of our Lord and in complete surrender and extravagant love pour out our hearts to the God that redeemed our lives through the sacrifice of His own.

The Church at Tuscaloosa strives to create an atmosphere of worship that is authentic and passionate in expression and adoration towards the Father. The message and the music are purposeful and cohesive in content to bring us to a place of reflection and surrender. We believe that when a unified voice of adoration is lifted up to our God, He is able to reign in the hearts, souls, and physical bodies of those present (2 Cor. 3:17)

If God has given you the gift of music and a conviction in your heart to be a part of our worship team, please contact our worship pastor Kortnie for more information!
